EPA inks another ‘defeat device’ settlement with $1 million penalty

EPA and the Department of Justice (DOJ) are announcing another settlement with an automotive parts manufacturer and retailer over “defeat devices” installed in diesel pickup trucks -- the third to be announced in recent weeks.
