EPA nears release of waste combustors air rule

EPA has sent a draft of its final rule tightening emissions limits on new and existing large municipal waste combustors (LMWC) for White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) pre-publication review, amid pressure from environmentalists to toughen proposed limits it floated early this year and threats of litigation from GOP states.
