EPA, NHTSA grant 3-day extension for vehicle GHG comments

Correction Appended EPA and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) have extended the comment period on the Trump administration's proposed rollback of greenhouse gas and fuel economy standards by just three days -- from Oct. 23 to Oct. 26 -- turning aside requests from industry, states and others for 60 more days to weigh in on the plan.
