EPA plans to approve Colorado ozone ‘contingency measures’

EPA is issuing a partial approval of a suite of Colorado measures for meeting federal ozone standards, including approval of the state’s finding that certain “contingency measures” (CMs) required under the Clean Air Act (CAA) are “infeasible,” reversing the agency’s prior disapproval of the states’ air quality plan.
