EPA sets July 1 hearing on cost-benefit plan

EPA has scheduled a July 1 public hearing on its plan to impose new requirements for cost-benefit analysis of air rules while also giving the public an additional week to comment on the plan, which critics fear could erect multiple hurdles for a future administration seeking to impose tough air protection mandates.
