EPA weighs longer comment period for aluminum criteria

EPA is weighing whether to extend the public comment period for its draft updated aluminum water quality criteria, which is scheduled to end Sept. 26, after receiving requests from New Mexico regulators and Massachusetts drinking water utilities.
