A Democratic National Committee (DNC) panel has rejected a resolution calling for a party-sanctioned presidential primary debate on climate change -- a setback for progressive candidates who wanted a debate to spotlight the issue, although the DNC dropped a ban on candidates taking part in third-party climate debates.
