Ewire: EPA approves Rhode Island’s approach to impaired waters

EPA’s Region 1 in New England has approved Rhode Island’s assessment of water quality in the state, including the state’s decision to remove portions of the upper Narragansett Bay, Mount Hope Bay and Blackstone River from a list of impaired waters due to improvements in their water quality.
