Federal district court judge denies CEQ’s bid to dismiss NEPA suit

A federal district court judge is rejecting a request by the White House Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) to dismiss environmentalists’ lawsuit over the administration’s rule to streamline how federal agencies implement the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), while also rejecting environmentalists’ request to expedite the suit.
