Former EPW chair and noted climate skeptic James Inhofe dies

Former Senate Environment & Public Works Committee chairman James Inhofe (R-OK) has died at the age of 89, according to the Tulsa World and other press reports. Inhofe who served in the Senate from 1994-2023, chaired EPW twice -- first between 2003-2009 and again from 2015-2017 after Republicans retook control of the upper chamber in the 2014 elections.
