GAO reiterates call for EPA to fix potential security gap at water facilities

The Government Accountability Office (GAO) in a new report is reiterating its call for EPA to work with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to identify security gaps at water and wastewater facilities exempt from chemical facility anti-terrorism standards and propose legislation to fix them, despite EPA’s rejection of the advice.
