HHS launches EJ office

The U.S. Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) is creating an Office of Environmental Justice (OEJ), Secretary Xavier Becerra announced May 31, making it the latest federal agency to create such an office as part of the Biden administration’s government-wide effort.
