House Democrats reject GOP call for PFAS hearing

Democratic leaders of the House Energy and Commerce Committee are slated to hold a June 23 markup of three drinking water-related bills, including legislation aimed at addressing per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) comprehensively, formally rejecting Republican calls for a hearing on the PFAS bill before any markup.
