Litigation: Exxon seeks to dismiss environmentalists' novel climate suit

Oil giant ExxonMobil is rejecting environmentalists' legal claims that it unlawfully fails to account for climate change effects such as rising sea levels in water and waste permits for a Massachusetts oil terminal, saying that the permits in question do not require the firm to address such “speculative” effects.
