LNG producer seeks 18-month extension to meet turbine rule

Liquefied natural gas (LNG) producer Cheniere Energy is asking Louisiana regulators for an additional 18 months to comply with EPA’s revived air toxics limits for stationary combustion gas turbines, after the agency refused the company a waiver and pipeline companies challenging the rule continue settlement talks with the agency.
