OMB starts review of NOx-SOx-PM air standards plan

EPA has sent its proposal likely tightening “secondary” federal air quality standards for nitrogen oxides (NOx), sulfur oxides (SOx) and particulate matter (PM) for White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB) pre-publication review, as the agency races to meet deadlines for proposed and final rules this year.
