Senators offer companion to House regulatory reform bill

A bipartisan group of senators has introduced a companion to broad House regulatory reform legislation that would create hurdles for new EPA rules and effectively override key environmental statutes, requiring the agency to consider costs when setting some standards and opening the door to new procedural challenges to regulations.
