9th Circuit Scraps EPA’s Trump-Era Glyphosate Cancer Determination

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 9th Circuit has vacated EPA’s 2020 finding that glyphosate, the active ingredient in the widely used Roundup herbicide, is not likely to be carcinogenic to humans and struck down the agency’s interim re-registration after holding that officials’ review broke with agency-wide guidance on cancer risk assessments.
