Army Agrees To First-Time Use Of EPA’s PFAS MCL As Testing Threshold

The Army is committing to a joint pilot project with EPA’s enforcement office that will prioritize sampling for PFAS at private drinking water wells surrounding nine bases and respond if the results exceed EPA's final drinking water limits, the first time a service branch has agreed to use the agency’s new standards as a testing threshold.
