Mining company ASARCO is appealing a district court ruling that rejected the company’s Superfund contribution claim seeking to recoup cleanup costs at a former mining site because ASARCO had told a bankruptcy court that its bankruptcy settlement with EPA amounted to its “fair share” of cleanup costs.
