Citing EV Investments, NHTSA Finalizes Eased Fuel Economy Standards

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is finalizing significantly weaker fuel economy standards for internal combustion vehicles than proposed, with Biden officials arguing that the new standards give manufacturers room to make significant investments to electrify the fleet.
