D.C. Circuit Sets January Deadline For EPA Plan On Ozone Designations

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit is forcing EPA to file a report by Jan. 12 detailing “with precision and specificity” when it plans to issue a final rule designating all areas as either attaining or exceeding the 2015 ozone air standard, after Administrator Scott Pruitt floated then withdrew a designations delay.
