Delaying Ozone Review, CASAC Seeks EPA Briefing, Plans Science Input

EPA’s clean air science advisers will hear additional briefing from the agency this summer on aspects of the 2020 science assessment that underlies agency staff’s suggestion to again retain federal ozone limits, slowing by months the agency’s reconsideration of the standards and raising questions about the nature of EPA’s response to any criticisms.
