The Department of Justice (DOJ) is launching its first environmental justice (EJ) enforcement task force, which will target environmental crimes and other violations on the Caribbean islands of Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands, part of the department’s broader strategy to address environmental inequities.
