Environmentalists Urge EPA To Expand Air Law General Duty Enforcement

Environmental Integrity Project (EIP) and other groups are pressing EPA to expand enforcement of Clean Air Act “general duty clause” (GDC) requirements that industrial facilities must be safely designed and maintained to prevent the accidental release of hazardous substances and to minimize the impact of any releases that do occur.
