EPA pesticides officials are seeking to streamline pesticide reviews by improving international cooperation and reducing differences between the registration and re-registration review processes, arguing that approving newer, less-harmful products reduces environmental harm, while industry is seeking to self-certify some parts of the review process to further speed efforts.
