EPA Drinking Water Monitoring Plan Prompts Concerns On Burdens, Data

State regulators, drinking water utilities, environmental laboratories and others are raising various concerns over EPA’s proposal to require utilities to monitor for lithium and 29 per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), saying the plan could be burdensome and that it should require monitoring data for additional unregulated contaminants.
