EPA Eyes Water E-Reporting To Bolster CSO Data Faulted By GAO Report

EPA is telling the Government Accountability Office (GAO) that it will track and publish data on combined sewer overflow (CSO) reductions and their effects on water quality, locally and nationwide, as part of the long-delayed Clean Water Act (CWA) e-reporting program for discharge permits, after the watchdog office found it lacked consistent data on them.
