EPA Poised To Grant First WIFIA Loan To Washington State Project

EPA is poised to issue its first water infrastructure loan under the Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) program next month for a wet weather treatment station in King County, WA, and has plans to close on a couple more loans in the next quarter, Andrew Sawyers, director of EPA's Office of Wastewater Management, told agency advisers Feb. 21.
