EPA Proposes Delay For State Plans In Haze Program’s Third Phase

EPA is proposing to delay by three years its deadline for states to submit plans to implement the third phase of its regional haze program that is due to begin in 2029, with plans now due in 2031 instead of 2028, allowing states more time to develop plans that will take into account a future substantive revision to the program’s federal regulation.
