EPA Proposes Listing DINP On TRI, Seeking To Boost TSCA Evaluation

EPA is renewing its 22-year-old proposal to list the widely used plasticizer diisononyl phthalate (DINP) on the Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) -- a move it says will provide “helpful” data for its pending TSCA risk evaluation of the chemical, in addition to fulfilling a settlement with environmentalists who originally petitioned for the listing.
