EPA Quietly Opens Door To Oil Tank Air Monitors, In Possible EJ Precedent

EPA has quietly told litigants that it is broadening an existing review of its air toxics rule governing organic liquids storage tanks to possibly require fenceline air quality monitoring, in what could be a precedent for the agency to require such monitoring to address environmental justice (EJ) concerns in upcoming reviews of numerous air toxics rules.
