EPA Renews TSCA Enforcement Threat Over PFAS-Leaching Plastics

EPA is warning industry that new research confirms reports of PFAS leaching from certain fluorinated plastic containers, with a particular contamination risk for water-based products and several pesticides -- and renewing its warning that the contamination likely violates its TSCA significant new use rule (SNUR) for many “long-chain” PFAS.
