Lawmakers have agreed on a $10.1 billion budget for EPA as part of the just-released fiscal year 2023 omnibus spending bill, a $576 million hike from FY22 levels that includes funding increases for key programs and accounts but rejects calls from the White House and some stakeholders for even larger boosts, including to state water infrastructure funds.
