EPA Sees Huge Increase In Water Infrastructure Needs Ahead Of SRF Debate

EPA has told Congress that it has identified $630.1 billion in total reported needs for clean water infrastructure over the next 20 years, a 73 percent increase since it last surveyed such needs 10 years ago, setting the stage for an upcoming congressional debate on overhauling the agency’s clean water state revolving fund (SRF) when it expires in 2026.
