EPA Staff Again Suggests Tightening PM Annual Standard In Draft Paper

EPA staff is again recommending that EPA tighten a key annual health standard for fine particulate matter (PM2.5) in a draft policy assessment (PA) document that will provide the basis for the agency’s reconsideration of the Trump administration’s December decision to retain all PM national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) dating from 2012.
