EPA Tells States To Swiftly Adopt Revised Vehicle Air Emissions Model

EPA is telling state air regulators to quickly adopt its new vehicle emissions model when crafting state air quality plans, and allowing them two years to adopt the model for avoidance of pollution “hot spots” when planning transportation projects, a change that will result in projected emissions of some pollutants falling, while others will rise.
