Building industry groups are faulting a key piece of a California Air Resources Board (CARB) proposed rule to measure and reduce “embodied carbon” (EC) and other greenhouse gases from building materials used in the state, faulting the plan’s “granular” requirements for manufacturer and project-level data reporting.
