Lawmakers To Resolve Key Environmental Differences In Highway Bill

Congressional negotiators will have to try to iron out major differences in clean air and environmental review provisions in transportation funding legislation during an upcoming Senate-House conference committee. Sources say lawmakers are pushing for a swift compromise before expiration of the current transportation law at the end of May.
