Whistleblower group Public Employees for Environmental Responsibility (PEER) is urging EPA to expand its drinking water health advisories for two well-known per-and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) to include the chemicals’ precursors, saying the agency’s failure to do so will endanger public health and the environment.
