Pruitt Orders State To Justify Utility MACT Compliance Extension Air Permit

EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt at the urging of environmentalists is objecting to a Clean Air Act permit issued by Pennsylvania for a coal-fired power plant that gives it three more years to comply with the Obama-era power plant air toxics rule, forcing the state to better justify the novel extension or revise the air permit to remove it.
