SG Urges High Court To Reject Alaska Pebble Complaint, Citing Jurisdiction

The Justice Department is urging the Supreme Court to reject Alaska’s complaint alleging that EPA infringed upon the state’s sovereignty and violated the Administrative Procedure Act (APA) when it issued a final determination to “veto” the controversial Pebble Mine project, arguing that the case does not fit the high court’s narrow bar for original jurisdiction.
