Some Local Officials Object To ‘Overbroad’ Release Of Claims In PFAS MDL

A handful of large municipal water systems and local governments are formally objecting to class-action settlements with PFAS manufacturers over drinking water contamination, arguing the proposed agreements include “overbroad” releases of claims that include stormwater, wastewater, real property and personal injury claims.
