State AGs Urge EPA To Scrap ‘Alternative’ Wood Heater Test Methods

A group of nine state attorneys general (AGs) is urging EPA to scrap some technical standards for testing wood heaters’ emissions that they say are allowing manufacturers to certify devices that frequently fail to meet the agency’s standards for fine particulate matter air pollution.
