Canadian mining company Teck Cominco Metals has lost its latest bid to block Superfund litigation over contamination from its British Columbia lead and zinc smelter that contaminated parts of the Columbia River after a federal court rejected its argument that trustees’ natural resource damages (NRD) claims are time-barred.
