EPA’s timeline for finalizing a validated test method for measuring per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) in wastewater remains vague, casting doubt on how quickly the Biden administration can advance plans to develop technology-based effluent limits or water quality-based permit limits for one or more industrial sectors.
