Toxics, Pesticides Offices Advance ‘Joint’ Formaldehyde Review To Aid TSCA

EPA’s TSCA and pesticides offices are “jointly” developing acute and short-term estimates of human-health risks from formaldehyde inhalation to support pending reviews of the chemical at both programs, using methods based in part on the Integrated Risk Information System’s (IRIS) pending draft assessment that only looked at chronic exposures.
