EPA Region 9 and Guam EPA are ordering the Air Force to revise a controversial permit renewal application for open burning/open detonation (OB/OD) activities at the Anderson Air Force Base (AAFB) after finding significant deficiencies in the military’s 2021 application, a move that could address local citizens’ long-running concerns.
