INDUSTRY STUDY SAYS EPA INTERSTATE AIR RULE TO RAISE ELECTRICITY PRICES

A new analysis by industry consultants of EPA's proposal to reduce interstate air pollution caused by power plant emissions of sulfur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides shows the rule would make electricity prices rise 25 percent by 2010 and an additional 10 percent by 2015.
