EPA Floats ANPR For Replacing Clean Power Plan But Schedule Uncertain

EPA has submitted to the White House Office of Management & Budget (OMB) its draft advance notice of proposed rulemaking (ANPR) seeking comment on options for replacing the Obama administration's Clean Power Plan (CPP), a measure that will launch a lengthy and uncertain process for how -- or whether -- the agency will regulate power sector greenhouse gases.
